Privacy Policy
This is the privacy policy of Kaleido, the picture gallery at checkpin.shop. There are no visitor accounts, no advertising and no tracking, so there is little to say here — but what there is, is said plainly.
What stays in your browser
When you save or like a pin, that is written into your own browser’s storage on your own device. It is never sent to this site and nobody else can see it. Clearing your browser’s site data erases it, and it does not follow you to another device or another browser.
What the site stores about you
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no profile, no newsletter, no analytics script and no advertising network. The site sets no cookies for visitors. The only cookie it ever sets belongs to the one administrator signing in to manage the pictures.
What the companies behind the site see
Running a website means other companies handle the traffic on its way to you, and they see the technical details every web request carries — your IP address, the page asked for, your browser’s user agent:
- Cloudflare sits in front of the site, delivering pages and filtering attacks. It sets its own security cookie for this purpose.
- Hetzner hosts the server, in Germany.
They act as suppliers for this site and use that data to deliver and protect it, not to build a profile of you.
The pictures
The pictures here are generated with AI image tools and published by the site’s owner. They do not depict real, identifiable people, and none of them come from visitors.
The owner may publish the site’s own pictures to the owner’s own Pinterest boards. Only the picture and its own words are sent — its title, description, tags and a link back to its page here. Nothing about any visitor is sent to Pinterest, and Pinterest has no access to this site’s data.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and collects nothing from anybody, whatever their age.
Your rights
Rules such as the GDPR give you the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to its use. Since this site holds nothing about you, there is nothing here to hand over or delete — what a browser holds is already yours to clear. Ask anyway if you would like that confirmed.
Changes
If the site starts doing something that affects this — measuring visits, say — this page is changed before it does, and the date below changes with it.
